These works depict places built for presence—
yet continuing without it.
No encounter takes place.
Absence is not a lack.
It is a condition.
The lights stay on.
The systems continue.
The space remains.

Three works from Absence were exhibited as part of the international exhibition Hearing the Breath of the Wind in Shanghai,
bringing together artists from China and Europe within the 2026 European Day cultural program.
The exhibition explored themes of impermanence, invisible forces, and subtle transitions — ideas that resonate closely with the atmosphere
of Absence: spaces that remain, lights that stay on, and the quiet traces of what has already moved on.
