'Love, lovers and beloved'
This new cycle of images is dedicated to great love stories in history, literature, music, ...to love.
Using a new, specific painting technique, I give the individual character's portraits something diffuse and mysterious,
which gives the viewer more personal freedom to bring in their own feelings when observing the works.
With my interpretations of 'Aeneas' from the opera 'Dido and Aeneas' by Purcell, 'Cathy', main character in the novel
'Wuthering Heights' by Emily Brontë, 'Alexander & Hephaestion', 'Ganymed, the most beatiful of all mortals', 'Narcissus', Medea and 'Adagio',
the protagonist from Lara Fabian's love ballad of the same name, I would like to touch the soul of the viewer showing diverse types of love
and maybe also awaken memories of great loves that they have lived.
